Markelle Fultz Signs 10-Day Contract with Raptors
Markelle Fultz, the former No. 1 overall pick, has signed a 10-day deal with the Toronto Raptors. He aims to boost the team's playoff push in the Eastern Conference.

Markelle Fultz, the former first overall draft pick, has officially signed a 10-day contract with the Toronto Raptors, as announced by the team on Monday.
The 27-year-old guard last saw action in the NBA during the previous season, where he played in 21 games for the Sacramento Kings. This season, Fultz has spent time with the Raptors 905, the team's G League affiliate.
Fultz's career has been significantly impacted by injuries since he was selected by the Philadelphia 76ers in the 2017 NBA Draft, resulting in him playing fewer than 20 games during his first two seasons in the league.
Over the years, Fultz has transformed into a reliable defensive player and a capable playmaker. His most productive season came in 2022-23 when he averaged 14 points and 5.7 assists per game while shooting an impressive 51.4% from the field for the Orlando Magic.
The Raptors are currently in a competitive battle for playoff positioning in the Eastern Conference, competing against the Hawks, 76ers, Magic, Heat, and Hornets to secure their spot.
